Poem on Environmental Overconsumption
By: Elisa Crespo Mirat

Pockets overflowing
With short-term desires
Empty them in the trash
But it will never disappear
Landfills bulge with microtrends
And planned obsolescence
Everything you've ever owned
Still exists out there, somewhere
The privileged consume
For quick dopamine hits
And the more we consume,
The quicker it'll consume us
